How to read electricity meter and pay bills with Khalti?
1. Go to www.consumer.nea.org.np and click on the register section you will be directed to the registration form
2. Now fill required field in the form such as customer’s name, email, mobile number, and password and click the ‘submit’ button
3. After registering, log in with your username (your registered mobile number) and your password
4. Now click on an “Add Consumer button”
5. Now, select your “DCS Name” (your counter), enter your “Consumer ID “and “SC number”
6. You will see a table with all the entered details, on the action tab click on “Click” to view the electricity meter readings.
7. Now select the month and enter the meter details from your meter box
8. The system will process the current meter readings and billing9+
9. In case of no pending bills, you will get a message that the reading up to the certain month has already been done
How to pay the electricity bill with Khalti?
1: Sign up and log in to Khalti from Khalti App or Web Dashboard using khalti.com
2: Tap on the ‘Electricity’ Icon on the home screen
3: Select your payment counter location where you normally pay your bills
4: Enter your SC Number and Consumer ID
5: Tap on ‘Get Details’ and confirm the details to proceed further with the payment
6: Tap on ‘Pay Bill’
7: Your payment will be successful after you click on ‘Ok’ and you will also get Khalti Points instantly
