Foodmandu is Nepal’s No. 1 online portal for food delivery service. Launched in November 2010, Foodmandu has been working as a platform where it connects restaurants to customers. It delivers food to customers at the table menu price of restaurants. So far, Foodmandu has partnered with over 300 restaurants around Kathmandu and Lalitpur. Recently, Khalti started digital payment partnership with Foodmandu. Now, you can order your favorite food from your favorite restaurants online from Foodmandu and pay digitally via Khalti.
Please follow the procedures below to order food online from Foodmandu and pay digitally via Khalti:
1. Sign up and login to Foodmandu via its app or website
2. Choose your favorite food from your favorite restaurants and tap on ‘ADD TO BAG’
3. Tap on ‘Proceed to Checkout’
4. Select your delivery location, and date & time
5. Choose Khalti as the payment option and tap on ‘Continue’
6. Confirm your order and tap on ‘Proceed for payment’
7. Now, you can either complete payment via wallet checkout or through our eBanking partners
To pay via Khalti Wallet checkout:
Step 1: Enter your Khalti ID (mobile number) and tap on the “PAY” button
Step 2: Enter your third party transaction PIN and the Confirmation Code you have just received on your mobile and tap on ‘CONFIRM PAYMENT’
To pay through our eBanking partners:
Step 1: Select the bank of your choice, enter your Khalti ID and tap on “PAY” button
Step 2: You will be redirected to your bank’s eBanking portal where you can complete the payment process
After the successful payment, you will receive a confirmation message on your mobile on successful placement of order. A representative from Foodmandu will also call you for the confirmation.
Now, wait for the food get delivered to your doorsteps in some minutes.
