This is to inform our valued users about revision in the Khalti transaction limit. This limit is as per Nepal Rastra Bank’s recent directive issued on 3 February 2023 (२०७९ साल माघ २० गते).
The following transaction limit has become effective in Nepal from Magh, 20 2079 (3 Feb 2023):
1. Load Khalti from Banks
Khalti users can load Khalti wallet from banks as per the below threshold:

2. Load Khalti from Khalti Cash In Agents (Khalti Sewa Kendra)
Users can do cash in transfers as per the below limit threshold:

5. Transaction Limit on digital payments:
Users can make payment of any amount to the amount ‘billed by the merchant’. However, the users that have not verified their Khalti KYC will not be able to transact more than NRs. 5,000/- per month.
Note:
1. Users that have not verified their KYC will not be allowed to perform a withdrawal transaction. (Verify Khalti KYC in 2 minutes!)
2. The above-mentioned rules are not applied to the payments and agents.
