If I have my linked and saved by a bank in khalti will it be removed after migration or will it stay the same as before?

Khalti’s bank link won’t be affected but the IME Pay bank link will expire and users need to relink their account in khalti after the merger.

If I have set one nominee in IME and another in khalti will I be able to edit it or which nominee stays?

Khalti’s nominee will prevail . User need to send email to change their nominee, our executive will get in touch with the users for the necessary support.

If I have different mail id verified in both Khalti and IME what will happen?

Email address verified in Khalti will prevail but however, email address change can be requested

After migration are both wallet transaction limits counted as one? How is it determined?

Until your account is not fully merged your limit will be counted separately in IME Pay app, & Khalti by IME app

If a user has opened Khalti way later than IME Pay, then after migration, are all details shown from the day IME Pay was activated by the user or from the date Khalti was activated?

After merger IME Pay’s history, wallet balance, points all will be synced to Khalti as well as existing in Khalti shall be as it is

If a user has a self-deactivated number in Khalti and the same number is used to create an IME account how does it affect the merger process?

User can login with ‘ Login with IME’ option available in Khalti app

Your existing IME pay account will be migrated into IMEkhalti account

What will happen to the transaction fees and limits after the merger? Will it be the same?

Transaction limits subject to regulators directives

There will be no changes in fees until and unless notified by IMEKhalti Ltd.

What happens to my transaction history and saved payments ?

Transaction history will not be synced and in case of saved payments you will have to add new payments in saved payment, however existing saved payment will not be affected

If I have loyalty points in IME pay and Khalti points in Khalti will these be combined into one account?

Yes it will

What happens to the existing balance in both Khalti and IMEpay.

It will be combined

After the merger, will the app support both Khalti and IME pay services?

Yes, all the benefits of both app shall be available, however there can be some delay in launching some of the features. Our social media and website will keep you updated in case of this cases.

Will my IME pay and Khalti accounts be automatically merged since all my information matches?

You have to initiate the account merging, however if the initiative has not been taken for a certain period of time, the company will notify and proceed with the merger. This will be visible once they login into the new app.

If a user has a business account in IME and only has a consumer account in Khalti will that business account be auto reflected in Khalti?

What if the banks which are available in IME pay and are linked but not available in Khalti ? How does it affect the bank link process after migration ?

The user needs to initiate a bank link process in Khalt but if the bank link user wants to link in Khalti is not available, once the bank is available you will be notified and you can link your account. However we do have array of other banks which can be linked for smooth transactions

In case of the same number in Khalti and IME pay. Time duration for the data to be migrated?

As per the flow, if user completes all steps, it will be done instantly

What happens to the interests, points as well as amount of IME pay if I migrate?

It will be synced with Khalti

Are all the transaction history of IME pay merged and shown in khalti and can the user filter IME pay transaction history separately after migration?

You can access it through the IME transaction history URL. It will redirect you to a different webpage.

The services that only IME provides and are not available in the khalti app will those services be added later on or what will happen to those purchased services? ( e.g. IME Virtual card)

What will happen to the account linked in IME PAY after the migration? Will it be unlinked?

Your bink link will be initiated at Khalti app, however it will need your consent to link your account.

If users have got QR from IME and scan and pay transactions are being performed from it what will happen to it after migration?

Your destination account will be changed to your merged account. ( Need tech confirmation )

What will happen to the ongoing offers of IME after migration?

Same offers will be available in Khalti as in khalti.

If my certain number is blocked in IME due to suspicious activity after the merger will that number be free and will I be able to use that number to create a Khalti account ?

You need to contact our dispute team dispute@khalti.com . Email all the necessary information for it.

If a certain id is undergoing a dispute case in IME what will happen to that id after the merger ?

Your dispute case will be carried forward. For more information contact dispute@khalti.com

What will be the process and do I need to update the IME pay app or will it be automatically merged with Khalti app?

What will happen if I don’t create a Khalti account?

Even if you don’t have Khalti, you can download it and by merging you can sync

If my KYC is already verified on IME pay, do I need to verify again in Khalti ?

How will my IMEpay linked mobile number, document and details be used in Khalti?

The scope of the information will be as per the NRB guidelines issued to PSP

How can I transfer my Ime pay wallet balance to Khalti.

In the case of the same number in Khalti and IME pay but different users.

It won’t be migrated and the details in Khalti will be as it is and needs to create a new ID in Khalti–need to consult. You have to send a request email for account

Your Khalti account will be as it is. For account change send account change flow.

How to migrate to Khalti if the document used is different in different wallets.

After some time IME app will not be available and you won’t be able to avail it’s benefits

Will my IME virtual card migrate along with my ID in Khalti?

Virtual card features will take some time to be available in Khalti app. Once it is live it will be carried forward in the khalti app based on your subscription period.

Can I use my IME Pay wallet password and biometrics to log into Khalti, or do I need to set them again after migrating to the Khalti wallet

No, biometric can’ be used but however you can use password, need to set new biometrics’
