Main Responsibilities

  • Translate business strategy into product strategy.
  • Own the product roadmap.
  • Execute product strategy.
  • Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market
  • Plan and carry out product launches.
  • Manage product profitability and commercial success – own the business case.
  • Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market.
  • Provide product marketing with insights on key differentiators and messages.
  • Write high-level requirements.
  • Support the Product Marketer with any questions they may have.
  • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues.

 

Job Description

  • Understand the product roadmap and strategy, and be able to articulate it to various stakeholders.
  • Work with UX/UI designers, engineers, and other PMs to execute the vision and strategy for the product.
  • Be the expert on the customer, their needs, and how our product can best serve them.
  • Conduct customer research through surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc. to inform product decisions.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas of opportunity/improvement.
  • Write clear and concise user stories that can be understood by all members of the development team.
  • Prioritize the backlog of features in alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Manage the release process end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of new features.
  • Communicate regularly with customers and other stakeholders on product updates and changes.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all questions related to the product.
  • Escalate and manage any issues that arise during development or after the launch.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor products.
  • Developing long-term product strategies that align with company goals.
  • Analyzing customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement or new product development.
  • Managing product development by collaborating with designers, programmers, engineers, and other team members
  • Communicating with stakeholders to help them understand new products and to gather feedback on existing products
  • Creating detailed product specifications based on customer feedback and market research
