Job Descriptions
Financial Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain financial data from various sources such as accounting systems, financial reports, and other relevant databases. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and financial performance indicators. Develop standardized reporting formats and templates to ensure consistent and timely reporting.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can support decision-making processes. Use tools and techniques for financial analysis, such as ratio analysis, variance analysis, and forecasting.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget performance, identify areas of variance, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Financial Planning and Strategy: Contribute to the development of financial plans and strategies aligned with the organization’s goals. Assist in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and evaluation of investment opportunities.
Systems Implementation and Optimization: Participate in the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial management software systems. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and security of financial systems and databases.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve efficiency. Implement controls and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance teams, executives, and department heads to understand their financial reporting and analysis needs. Provide guidance and support in utilizing financial information effectively.
Training and Support: Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on financial systems and reporting tools. Provide support and guidance to users in accessing and analyzing financial data.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in financial reporting and data management.
Job Specifications
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in, Management Information Systems, or Charted Accountancy or Semi Qualified CA.
- Proven work experience in MIS, data management, or business intelligence roles of more than 3 years.
- Strong technical skills in database management, SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools.
Other Specifications
- Experience with Fintech systems, financial data, or banking operations is highly desirable.
- Project management experience and familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
