JLPT stand stands for Japanese-Language Proficiency Test. It is a standardized criterion-referenced test that covers language knowledge, reading ability, and listening ability and evaluates and certifies non-native speakers’ Japanese language competence. Registration for the JLPT exam has started and the online form is open till Asojh 4th, 2079.
Khalti collaborated with JALTAN – the body that administers JLPT in Nepal in 2020. The partnership has implemented an online payment system for the test. You will not have to visit banks and wait in a queue to pay the application fees. You can simply pay the application fee with Khalti.
JLPT exam consists of five levels N1, N2, N3, N4, and N5. You can choose the appropriate level among all levels. The price for the application form (Grant Amount) is only Rs. 3000.
How to fill JLPT Application form and pay from Khalti?
Step 1: Visit the JLPT Nepal website
Step 2: Click on ‘Sign Up’.
Step 3: Fill up the details about your test levels, valid email id, password, and mobile number. Also Click ‘Yes’ if you are differently-abled, if not click ‘No’.
Step 4: After signup, you will get a verification mail on the email id you provided. Get your email verified by clicking on ‘verify mail’. (Do check your spam box also)
Step 5: Go back to the JLPT website and click on ‘Login’ and enter email address and password that you provided while registering.
Step 6: Click on ‘Apply Now’ and enter all the details that are asked in the form and submit the form.
Step 7: The Next Page will be of your details. You can also check whether the details you entered are correct or not. If any changes are required click on ‘Update Form’ and return to the form page and submit it after making changes.
Step 8: Now you can go for payments.
Step 9: The page for the payment gateway will appear. In the payment mode, choose Khalti and then gateway payment.
Step 10: Please choose Khalti Wallet if you have a Khalti wallet. If you don’t already have a Khalti account, you may sign up for one at Khati Register.
Step 11: Following a successful online payment from Khalti, you will be sent to a page with the words “Dear Candidate, You have successfully applied for the JLPT.” Select the Print Acknowledge button.
Step 12: The page for the Acknowledge Slip will appear. Print the payment slip with a transaction number by pressing the Print Acknowledge button once again.
Step 13: Select Print Application Form and save it to your computer. Print two (2) copies of the Application Form.
To receive your Test Voucher, read the information on the Application Form attentively and go to the JALTAN office in Bishwo Bhasa Campus, Exhibition Road, Bhrikuti Mandap (Admission Card). When visiting the JALTAN office, please bring all relevant documentation.
