What is Third-party payment?

Users can make payments at merchant (third party) sites using Khalti. For security reasons, users are required to set up Third Party Transaction PIN and use it every time they make payments at merchant sites so that none else can make payments at third parties other than the users.

Third-party sites are the merchants outside Khalti platform (app/website). Eg. QFX Cinemas. You can buy movie tickets from QFX Cinemas website and pay online via Khalti.

There are currently more than 200 third party merchants associated with Khalti. You can avail of services from any of these merchants and pay digitally via Khalti.

How can I recharge using a Khalti account?

On the payment page, select “Pay with Khalti”. Enter your phone number registered with Khalti along with the OTP and Third Party Transaction pin

What if I do not have a Khalti account? Can I register while making a payment?

You cannot register during making a payment.

What are the payment options I get other than Khalti Wallet?

You can make your payment using e-banking, smart banking, and card payments.

My transaction failed mid-way due to various reasons. What will happen?

The amount will automatically be reflected back in your Khalti account within a short span of time. We will also notify you through email and SMS alerts for such transactions.

How can I be notified about my transactions and refunds?

You will be notified through the push notifications on our website and mobile application. We also send notifications via email and SMS alert for each transaction or refund to the registered email or mobile number. You can also check it in the transaction history.

I didn’t get cashback while paying at the merchant site.

You will get cashback only while paying via Khalti wallet. No cashback will be allotted if you are paying using eBanking or other direct bank payment methods. It also depends on the *T&C

How to pay fees?

Register yourself at Khalti first. Then open Khalti App on the mobile or goto www.khalti.com through your browser. Then goto ‘School Fee’ and find your school/college. Now, enter your username or fill the forms and pay.

Wrongly paid twice or more? How to get a refund?

Contact us immediately, we will proceed for your refunds.

How do I get confirmation of the fees payment?

When your fees are successfully paid to the concerned school/college, an SMS will be sent to the depositor's phone number.

Modes of payment? How can I pay other than Khalti Wallet?

We provide multiple payment options other than Khalti. You can pay via our partner banks’ Internet banking, mobile banking, SCT card, or Direct Linked Bank Account.

How much charge do I have to pay?

Fee payment charges depend on the school/college.

How much cashback do I get?

Cashback is a part of a marketing campaign that we do with a particular school/college. Thus, it depends on the school/college marketing campaign.

 

What are the benefits of using Khalti Bazaar as a user?

As a user, the benefits of using Khalti Bazaar is that they can get multiple payment systems i.e. e-banking, m-banking, and wallets, pre-booking for services like spa, beautician and offers and super deals

What are the payment mediums available for Khalti Bazaar?

You can pay from Khalti wallet, M-banking and E-banking 

Do I need to pay extra charges while making a purchase from Khalti Bazaar?

No, there are no extra price charged while paying from Khalti Bazaar

Do I need to pay delivery charges for placing an order from Khalti Bazaar?

This depends on the vendor’s policy. If they charge delivery charges, the same will be applicable

How will I know that my order has been confirmed?

After the verification of KYC, an email notification option will appear on the dashboard where multiple email IDs can be added for order notification.

Where can I find my order details and receipt for my order?

You can find your order details in the ‘My purchase’ section by clicking the ‘More’ option. The receipt will be available in the transaction history.

If I make an order and do not receive the goods/services, whom should I contact?

You will have to contact the vendor from whom you have placed your order.

Where will I get the contact information of the vendor I have ordered from?

You can get the contact information in the ‘Contact’ tab inside the vendor’s profile.

What if I recharge a wrong number by mistake?

Please check the number before the recharge. After the balance has been transferred you won't be refunded.

Are online recharges safe?

100% safe. All your cash in your Khalti account is completely safe. It is the best possible means to complete any transactions with ease.

Who is responsible to charge the amount for electricity bill payments?

NEA itself determines the amount to be charged and Khalti has no role in determining or charging extra for the payments.

How long does it take for NEA bill details to appear?

It depends on when the staff from NEA come to visit your doorstep. Once they have visited and taken the readings of your meter and entered it into their systems, the bill details will appear.
It usually takes 1-2 working days.
