Nepal Telecom, the state-owned telecommunication service provider in Nepal has brought ‘Happy Social Media Pack’ and ‘Student Offer’. The offers have been brought on the occasion of Mother’s Day that falls on Monday, 16 April 2018.
Happy Social Media Pack
Offer Available on: Both prepaid and postpaid users of NT GSM and CDMA.
Data volume and cost: 250 MB at Rs. 21
Usage: Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp
The offer starts on 16 April 2018 (Baisakh 3, 2075)
Offer ends on: 1 May 2018 (Baisakh 18, 2075)
Timing to use it: 6 AM – 6 PM
Data pack validity: 7 days
However, instead of a web browser, you must use social media apps to use ‘Happy Social Media Pack’ data.

Nepal Telecom ‘Student Offer’
Similarly, Nepal Telecom has also brought ‘Student offer’ targeting SEE appeared students and those studying higher level.
What is on the offer: Free SIM card with an initial balance worth Rs. 50
(From this balance, you can use Rs. 10 to make calls, purchase internet data, and send SMS. The remaining 40 rupees can be used to make 40 minutes voice calls, purchase 60 MB of data, and send 20 SMS. However, you have to use all these services within 30 days of getting the SIM card.
Similarly, for six months, you will get a monthly bonus of 40 minutes’ talk time, 60 MB data, and 20 SMS.
Likewise, for one year, you will get a bonus of 10 min talk time and 50 MB data on every recharge you make worth Rs. 50 and above.
However, the bonus voice call and SMS can be used to make calls and send SMS to Nepal Telecom numbers only (not available for Ncell, Smart Cell, or other numbers).

Who can get the SIM: SEE appeared students, SEB Students, and higher-level students
