My Khalti balance has been debited but the transaction has failed. What do I do?
You do not need to worry about that. The balance will be credited to your Khalti account within 24 hours. If it has not been transferred, do send us a screenshot of the failed transaction to support@khalti.com
What is primary and secondary balance?
Primary balance is the fund you directly load using loading funds options whereas secondary balance is the cashback you receive from paying bills online
Does secondary balance get accumulated?
Secondary balance does not get accumulated. Whenever payment is the amount from secondary balance is first reduced then from the primary balance. For instance, a user has Rs in his secondary balance and Rs 100 in his primary balance and the user is trying to topup mobile worth Rs 100.
In such a case, the Secondary balance will be reduced by Rs 5 and the primary balance will be reduced by Rs 95
The remaining balance in Primary Balance will be Rs 5 and the Remaining Balance in Secondary Balance will be Rs 2 (2% cashback of Rs 100)
I want to repay a bill using the details I entered earlier. How can I do so?
To repay for a particular service using the same credentials, tap on the service you want to pay for. Go to recent payments and tap to pay immediately.
What is the overall maximum and minimum limit of transaction?
Min. limit: Rs. 10
Max limit for KYC Verified users: Rs. 5000 at a time, Rs. 15000 in a day, and Rs. 25,000 in a month.
Max limit for Non-KYC verified users: Rs. 5000 (in a day or in a month)
So we have an account limit? What is the maximum amount I can store in my Khalti account?
Yes. There is a limit on how much you can hold on your Khalti account. For KYC Verified users, it's Rs. 25000. For Non-KYC verified users, it's Rs. 5000 only.
Is there any expiry date for my Khalti account?
No, there is no expiry date for Khalti account.
