Boston International College (BIC) in Chitwan is all set to organize Boston Endeavor 2018, a National Level Management Competition with the mission to make the students proactive by providing real-life corporate experiences and dealing with the challenges of the corporate world.
It is a two-day residential event that will consist of different events like Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Wealth Management, Marketing, and a Group Task. The jury panel in the competition will comprise big shots from different corporate houses in Chitwan and Kathmandu.
The event seeks to simulate the learning of the classroom on a practical basis and aims to develop the capacity of an individual to groom himself/herself in the corporate world.
The competition incorporates all the corporate challenges so that the participants will be aware of the corporate practice. Furthermore, the program will also help to gain insight to develop participants and volunteer future endeavors.
The event is expected to be witnessed by more than 500 students and professionals from the marketing industry.
List of Activities at Boston Endeavor 2018
Entrepreneurship: To show off the individual capacity of entrepreneurs and build a framework for their future possible startups. An event will be held in different startup houses and around the city for a practical demonstration.
Marketing Competition: The participants will demonstrate their skills on trending marketing concept and will be able to familiarize with the current market scenario.
Wealth Management: The participants will demonstrate their skills in the stock market, financial market, portfolio investment, and budgeting procedures for a successful business endeavor.
Human Resource Management: The act of managing people will be demonstrated on a real example basis. The participants will face the real corporate world challenge and learn how to manage the employee.
Group Task: This is the most enthralling event of all. All the participants will compete in this event. This event will be conducted on Day 2 and is expected to run for about 5 hours. The participants will have to show their exceptional skills of persuasion and weighing what they speak.

The winner in the competition will be awarded a cash prize worth Rs. 55,000.
