Experience

  • 1 year of relevant and progressive work experience in IT or Network support. (We encourage all qualified freshers to apply for this position)

 

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux desktop operating systems..
  • Knowledge of networking ( LAN, WAN, Routing and Switching, VPN).
  • Knowledge of Active Directory will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of telephony technologies like VOIP, SIP, Softphone, PSTN will be an added advantage.
  • Interest to learn new IT infrastructure skills and adapt them quickly.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry-standard computing concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Additional certification (CCNA / CompTIA A+ ) will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to source information from users, vendors, and colleagues and deliver it to the required audience.

 

 

Job Description

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Set up Laptops and various accounts for onboarding users and revoke access of all off-boarding users.
  • Provide support for telephony and VOIP systems.
  • Provide technical support to the user of the organization (may be in person or through remote access).
  • Administration of Endpoint Protection and generate reports weekly.
  • Verify the functionality of hardware, systems, powerline, and power backups.
  • Repair or replace the hardware systems as necessary.
  • Escalates problems and issues to the correct group as needed.
  • Maintaining records of systems in an inventory ledger and reporting to the respective supervisor.
  • Training end-users in new or existing systems, while promoting self-service and automation of IT Requests.
  • Coordination with Admin, HR, or other departments for smooth functioning.
  • Should visit client locations in different cities for technical support.
  • Coordination with the related vendor regarding various device issues.
