Khalti, a leading mobile wallet and payment gateway provider in Nepal is seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Manager HR to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Selection
- Partner with the internal department to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview potential candidates.
- Assist with onboarding new hires and ensuring a smooth transition into Khalti’s culture.
HR Operations:
- Manage and maintain HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data.
- Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns, and mediating conflicts.
- Stay current on Nepalese labor laws and regulations, ensuring Khalti’s compliance.
- Process payroll, benefits, and leaves of absence.
Employee Engagement & Development:
- Develop and implement programs to promote a positive and productive work environment, fostering employee morale and satisfaction.
- Organize team-building activities and recognition programs.
- Partner with managers to identify employee training needs and support professional development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within Khalti.
Performance Management:
- Assist with the performance management process, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback.
- Track employee performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
Other Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of Nepalese labor laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS software (ideally Nimble HRIS) and G Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
