Major milestones of Khalti this year
1) Places by Khalti
This year, Khalti introduced a new feature called “Places by Khalti.” With this feature, users can explore their favorite destinations and gain exclusive access to a variety of options. Simply go to the Places section in Khalti to discover thrilling adventures, recreational spots, and exclusive deals, making planning your next outing easier and more exciting!
2) Car & Bike Suraksha
Khalti took a big step in offering safety and convenience this year by launching Car and Bike Suraksha. This service allows users to insure their two-wheelers and four-wheelers at an affordable cost, ensuring peace of mind on every journey.
3) Nepal Premier League
One of the biggest milestones for Khalti this year was becoming the Official Ticketing Partner of the highly anticipated Nepal Premier League, the biggest cricket event in Nepal. This partnership marked a significant achievement, bringing convenience to cricket fans across the country.
4) The Biggest Payment Jatra
For the third time, Khalti hosted its iconic “Biggest Payment Jatra” campaign—a 63-day extravaganza filled with exciting opportunities. From winning the grand prize of 5 Pulsar NS 200 FI ABS bikes to daily surprises with Khutruke, instant scratch cards, and the ability to create and share personalized promo codes with friends, the campaign truly celebrated the joy of digital payments!
5) Khalti Full Festival
This Dashain, Khalti brought festive cheer to its users with the Khalti Full Festival campaign, offering incredible prizes like a NAMMI 01 E3E VCar and a trip to Thailand. Users had countless opportunities to win bumper prizes and enjoy exclusive rewards, making the season even more special.
6) Events
Khalti started the year on a high note with the soulful performances of Atif Aslam and Anuv Jain and wrapped it up with laughter from the legendary Sunil Grover. Throughout the year, Khalti supported numerous events, including Sajjan Raj Vaidya’s Nepal Tour, Prateek Kuhad’s Silhouette Tour, Naada Auto Show, and many more, connecting with users through unforgettable moments.
7) Awards
Excellence in Digital Transactions Award 2080/81. We’re proud to be recognized with the Award for the 2nd Consecutive year as having the Highest Amount of Digital Transactions in the Payment Service Providers (PSPs) & Payment Service Operators (PSOs) Category.
8) The Hong Kong FinTech Week 2024.
This year, Khalti’s Board of Directors proudly participated in the Hong Kong FinTech Week 2024, a prestigious platform that brought together leading FinTech companies from around the globe. The event provided an incredible opportunity to network, exchange innovative ideas, and gain fresh perspectives on the future of financial technology.
